The containers for our sauces, peas, and milkshakes are made from a special type of plastic called PLA. This material is better for the environment because it’s made from renewable resources like corn or sugarcane, instead of oil.
PLA is also biodegradable, which means it can break down naturally over time, unlike regular plastic that can take hundreds of years to decompose. This makes it a better choice for the planet.
However, because the containers hold liquids and sauces, they can’t be recycled with other plastics. So, they need to be thrown away in the general waste bin. But even though they can’t be recycled, they are still a better option than traditional plastic containers because they are eco-friendly.
So, when you use our products, you can feel good knowing that you’re making a more sustainable choice!
Recycling is in the detail: If you have paper or cardboard that’s been in contact with food, like a fish box, the paper lining with food residue should go into the general waste bin. But don’t worry, the cardboard box itself can be recycled as usual. Thanks for doing your part in helping to keep our planet clean!
